Hi, I'm Maeve! I was born in America, and I have lived there for most of my life. I love kids, and I have a lot of experience thanks to babysitting and having a younger sibling. I am 17 years old, and my favorite subjects in school are English and history. I think that education is one of the most important gifts, and it should be shared with everyone, which is why I find Speak Easy Tutoring so special.

Hello! My name is Larissa, which is a name my parents gave me to honor my Greek heritage. My great-great-grandmother came to America from Greece in the 1920s, which is how I eventually came to be born in the United States, in the state of Tennessee. When I was seven, my family started moving internationally for my dad's job. I have lived in Djibouti, Zimbabwe and now Cyprus. I love meeting people from all over the world. My hobbies include reading, art, traveling, volleyball, basketball and playing the piano. In school, English is probably my favorite subject. I also take French, so I know how challenging it can be to learn a different language. That's why I'm so excited to help other kids learn English in a fun, yet effective, way through Speak Easy Tutoring.

My name is Georgia Eckert, and I am 16. I was born in Taiwan and have grown up around the world. English is my native language, and I have been taught language arts, literature, and grammar my entire life in a diverse selection of countries (such as, Vietnam, Burma, Gabon, America, and Cyprus). I strive to offer my services to make students’ English sound native, including writing practices to improve spelling, active texting conversations to refine grammar, and video calls to practice pronunciation.
